Kogi Lime Bag

Kogi Lime Bag

Kogi wisdom claims, “If it doesn’t fit into a mochila, it doesn’t fit in life.”  These colorful bags were woven by the women of the Kogi tribe living in the Sierra Nevada of Northern Colombia. Each bag is woven by hand carrying the positive desires during its creation.

As we like to think, it is not the person who chooses the bag, but the bag that chooses its owner.

Kogi bags in wool are completely handmade and handcrafted by the Kogi Indigenous tribes. It takes around 30 to 45 days to produce one of these beautiful bags. Motifs are original tribal desings chosen by the tribe.
