LaMina Small Bag

Kankuamo wisdom claims, “If it doesn’t fit into a mochila, it doesn’t fit in life.”  These colorful bags were woven by the women of the Kankuamo tribe living in Northern of Colombia. Each bag is woven by hand carrying the positive desires during its creation.
As we like to think, it is not the person who chooses the bag, but the bag that chooses its owner. 
 
Kankuamo bags in wool are completely handmade and handcrafted by the Kankuamo Indigenous tribes. It takes around 30 to 45 days to produce one of these beautiful bags. Motifs are original tribal desings chosen by the tribe.
